The first trailer for “Dynasties,” Sir David Attenborough’s next must-see nature series has arrived.

The BBC America series will debut Saturday, January 19 and will be simulcast across four cable networks: BBC America, AMC, IFC, and Sundance TV.

BBC America has found success with this strategy with other Attenborough documentary events including “Blue Planet II” earlier this year and “Planet Earth II.”

“Dynasties” will follow five of the world’s most celebrated but endangered species, as they do whatever it takes to survive and protect the next generation.

The series will focus on one particular family from each species per episode:

  • Emperor penguins in the frozen wastes of Antarctica
  • Chimpanzees on the edge of the Sahara in Senegal, West Africa
  • Lions on the savannahs of Kenya’s Masai Mara
  • Painted wolves on the floodplains of the great Zambezi river in Zimbabwe
  • Tigers in the jungles of Bandhavgarh, India
