Convicted murderer Drew Peterson will be the subject of at least two TV specials this month that are timed to the upcoming 10th anniversary of the disappearance of Stacy Peterson, the fourth wife of the former Bolingbrook police sergeant.

Oxygen Media announced this week that “Snapped Notorious: Drew Peterson,” an “eye-opening” two-hour special, will premiere on Aug. 25.  Investigation Discovery, meanwhile, promises its Aug. 27 special, “Drew Peterson: An American Murder Mystery,” will unravel the “twisted web of lies, corruption and violence behind one of the most fascinating missing persons’ cases in recent history.”
