The Navajo Nation is experiencing one of the highest coronavirus death rates in the country, trailing only four northeastern states.

Even as it has quickly instituted extensive lockdown measures, its inadequate infrastructure, limited access to running water, and lack of nutritious food resources compound the threat they face from the pandemic.

In the latest episode of CBSN Originals’ documentary series, REVERB, Adam Yamaguchi meets with members of the Navajo Nation to examine how these problems have intensified the crisis.
