The BBC is heading to Bollywood with a two-part documentary series exploring the world’s largest film industry.

“Strictly Come Dancing” star Anita Rani will present “Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry” for the British public broadcaster.

The film will look at the world of Indian cinema, which is the world’s largest film industry in terms of film production with an annual output of around 2,000 films per year.

Rani will meet a number of big-screen idols and discovers how an industry based on centuries old traditions is racing to keep up with the changing tastes of one of the youngest countries on earth.
